Miami Information Miami Gardens is a city located in the northern area of Miami-Dade Florida. It is known to be the third largest city in the country after Miami and Hialeah, and the majority of its population consists of black Americans. The neighboring cities are Broward County (Miramar) to the north, Miami Lakes to the west and the unincorporated North Miami Beach to the east and south.

The closest airport to the city is Miami International Airport, which is approximately 17.2 kilometers away. The IATA code name for this airport is MIA.
